#SCSM: Cube processing fails after changing service account password

You may run into a situation where you’ve changed the passwords for the Service Manager service accounts, and the DW Cubes stop processing with an error that looks something like this:


To fix:

Connect to the SQL Analysis Server hosting your cubes, expand Data Sources, and update them each as follows:

Open the Properties view of the Data Source


Ensure that the server name, etc is correct and click on ImpersonationAccount. Insert the updated password here.


Reset the Analysis Services service, and process your cube. It should complete successfully after running for 5-10 minutes. You can then resume the jobs in the SCSM console.
